Key Features and Technology
Planar Rescue Concept: This is a new type of rescue system developed by Gin Gliders using anti-billow rib technology. Lines are attached to triangular ribs in a cross shape, which greatly reduces the billow of the canopy and produces an almost flat upper surface.
Increased Efficiency: This planar design increases the projected area by approximately 30% compared to traditional square reserves, allowing for excellent sink rates with a lower flat area and corresponding lower packing volume and weight.
Stable Descent: Despite the low weight, the planar design ensures a notably stable descent with optimized air channeling to prevent drifting.
Rapid Opening: The combination of the canopy profile, specialized packing procedure, and lightweight fabric contributes to excellent, rapid, and smooth opening characteristics.
The Yeti UL is delivered with an inner container and 1 bridle (360mm).
